OUR HISTORY

Sessions Paving Company: Enhancing Nashville's infrastructure for almost a century

Founded in 1931, Sessions Paving Company is Nashville's oldest and most reputable asphalt paving contractor.

Located less than six miles from downtown, we have dedicated over 93 years to developing and enhancing the infrastructure of Middle Tennessee with top-notch asphalt and concrete paving services.

Our main goal is to keep Tennessee's businesses booming by providing them with safe and dependable infrastructure, ensuring that they stay connected with their clients and customers.

We've earned our stripes by delivering first-rate work at competitive prices, allowing our clients to grow their businesses alongside us. We've been following this philosophy since we first opened our doors, and it's made us the paving powerhouse we are today.

The Tennessean, Dec. 15, 1959 (Pg. 36)

In 1959, Tennessee native Pat Hutcheson purchased Sessions, and the company has been family-owned ever since. Pat's son, Robert Hutcheson, joined the company less than a decade later in 1968 and took over as president in 1981, a position he still holds today.

At Sessions, we're all about family values, total dedication to customer satisfaction, and providing a safe, drug-free workplace. We take pride in our work and have built long-lasting relationships with our clients by delivering top-notch quality results. We're committed to sustainability and strive to keep our team members, subcontractors, and customers happy by providing a safe and supportive work environment.
